Students will learn all about tigers, what they look like, their habits, where they are located, and many other fun facts about these magnificent animals. They will also learn why tigers are a favorite animal among many people. Students will view a slideshow that includes pictures and interesting facts about tigers. They will also watch a short video with more helpful information about tigers. Toward the end of the lesson, students will learn how to draw a tiger. There will be ample...
Students will learn about different kinds of tigers and their locations. Students will learn about the physical features of tigers. Students will learn about many tiger habits. Students will learn what tigers eat and how they hunt. Students will be able to understand why the tiger is an endangered species.
I have been teaching in the elementary classroom for 18 years and I am very knowledgeable about animals in the wild. I also have a love and fascination for tigers that I have had since I was a child and I have learned so much about them over the years. They have and always will be my very favorite animal.
For the tiger drawing at the end of the lesson, learners will need paper, pencil, and crayons or markers.
