This on-going reading series will help students grow a love for stories with an interactive reading of the Dragon Masters series by Tracey West! Join me on a magical adventure as we follow Drake as he discovers the mysteries of dragons!! A NEW BOOK EACH WEEK! During each session, students will listen to a dramatic reading of that week's selected book. Students will discuss themes, characters, settings, and conflict with other learners, and discuss their expectations for upcoming chapters....
Each week, students will demonstrate an understanding of various reading/listening comprehension skills through verbal activities.
I hold an MFA in Creative Writing, as well as a BA in English Literature. I love stories--Reading them. Writing them. Understanding them.--and have dedicated my entire adult life to the pursuit of storytelling. My wish is to pass along my love of reading to as many young people as possible by introducing them to stories both old and new that will entertain and inspire them.
