Students will meet virtually with their after school snack to "Spill the Tea." Sometimes talking about things that have happened in school with a parent or guardian can be tough. This is a safe space to express your feelings and emotions about what happened that day. Students can pull from their own experience to help new friends problem solve. This class will be casual and lighthearted. My teaching style is firm, fair and FUN!
- Students will be able to verbalize the positives and negatives of their day. Finding a common ground and seeing that other people may have not had the best day can help them feel like they are heard.
I have been teaching since 2005 and always love talking to my class about their experiences, feelings and struggles. Sometimes you have more in common than you think.
