Calling all robots! In this class, students will learn basic breakdance and hip-hop moves. Our learning goals will be focused on body awareness and coordination. There's an overall robot theme, so any items with that in mind are also welcomed but not required. My teaching style is to use short activities in rotation to keep the children engaged. I try my best to read the students' energy levels and responses to decide if a particular activity is suitable for them at the moment. We...
I am a 600 hr Registered Yoga Teacher with certification in Yoga for Children & Teens. I have taught dance professionally at the NYC Ballet Tech Academy and have been a performer since I was a child.
Students are asked to wear clothing comfortable to move in. For example shorts, leggings, joggers, t-shirts, etc. Please no skirts, dresses, or oversized clothing. No shoes or socks are required.
