When a student takes this class they can expect a fun and interactive journey through the story of how Hercules faced off against the Erymanthian Boar.  Class will first begin with a short meet-and-greet. Once acquainted, we will delve into a dramatic telling of some of Hercules' exploits.  Images and some video will be shared to help bring the story to life and as the storyteller, my goal will be to use my theatrical and voice-artist background to make the tale memorable.  Throughout, students will be encouraged to ask questions and will also be posed questions to test their listening and comprehension skills.  Specifically, we will learn about Heracles visiting Pholus, Hercules opening a jar of wine gifted from Dionysus to the centaurs, Hercules seeking the advice of Chiron, and finally Hercules using the knowledge gained from Chiron to bring the rampage of the Erymanthian Boar to an end.
