Are you looking for a book club where your child can explore high-interest books from a variety of authors and genres? This book club is for you! From Roald Dahl to Rick Riordin, students will join beloved characters as they travel the world, slay beasts, and make friends. From best-selling books to classic favorites, your child will learn what type of reader they are while learning to think critically about literature. Each class will have a comprehension quiz to help students learn to think about the important details in books. Learning to analyze literature is a critical component to becoming a successful reader and writer. In this class, students will learn to identify themes, point of view, author’s purpose, character development, and more. We discuss the various aspects of the literature in an environment where ideas are encouraged and supported. 📆 This class meets every other week. You will not be charged on the off weeks.
