This is part one of a three class ongoing series. We will focus on nouns (regular and irregular plural nouns), verbs (regular and irregular verbs), and pronouns (using abstract nouns). Each week we will focus on learning one topic. The last week will be spent as a review. It is not required that learners attend each week, but it is recommended. Weekly Topics Covered: Week 1 (11/23-11/27): Nouns --What is a noun? --Regular and Irregular Plural Nouns --Common/Proper Nouns Week 2 (11/30-12/4): Nouns Week 3 (12/7-12/11): Verbs --What is a verb? --Regular and Irregular Verbs Week 4 (12/14-12/18): Verbs Week 5 (12/21-12/25): Pronouns --What is a pronoun? --Using Abstract Nouns Week 6 (12/28-1/1): Pronouns Week 7 (1/4-1/8): Review We will use this week to review all material learned in previous weeks. Hello! I am currently an online ESL teacher, but I have an educational background in Elementary Education. I have taught students (K-5) in private school and charter school settings. I have over 11 years of teaching experience.
I have a passion for teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher, since 3rd grade to be exact (WOW! That was so long ago). I believe each student is unique and different. Each student will learn a different way. I use different methods in each of my classes to teach each child to help them succeed.
In my everyday life, I am a mother of two. My son is 18 and my daughter is 14. My daughter is also a competitive gymnast, so we spend a lot of our time at the gym. I enjoy reading and try to read a little every day. I also have a passion for photography.
