In this class, students will review the concept of nouns and action verbs and then will be introduced to a list of prepositions. The teacher and students will list examples of sentences containing a preposition and will identify the prepositional phrase.  Then the class will generate examples of sentences with prepositional phrases. By the end of class, students will be comfortable finding prepositional phrases in a sentence.   Students must be able to read and write to benefit from this class.  If your child is unfamiliar with the terms "nouns" and "verbs", I highly recommend that they take my Grammar Fun: Nouns and Verbs class (or a similar class from another teacher) before taking this class.
