We will start out on the beach to begin learning about what an adverb does and how to find adverbs. Adverbs can be very confusing. I am hoping this exciting class will help to make learning adverbs easy. Students will collect the treasure adverbs and keep them in their treasure chests on a printout. A printout will be attached inside the classroom that you may print out for your child. I include everyone during class time. I love a lot of interaction. I also will show an exciting PowerPoint throughout the lesson filled with animated visuals that will help reach the learning objectives.

We will be learning all the questions that adverbs answer: how, where, when, and how often. This is a very basic introduction to adverbs. It is great for an introduction or a review of adverbs. I am gearing this class towards 5-9 year olds. If your child is older, he/she is welcome to take part but please be advised that it may be too simple for them.
