Welcome to Grade 2 Math Marvels, where the adventure of learning math begins! Our class is designed to ignite a lifelong love for numbers and problem-solving in your child. 

In this exciting journey, the focus will be on on building strong foundational math skills, essential for success in future grades. This class combines interactive, hands-on activities with activities tailored to second-grade students' needs. 

Your child will explore mathematical concepts through engaging games, puzzles, and real-world applications, making math both fun and practical. Fostering a growth mindset is of utmost importance, where challenges are seen as opportunities for growth, and every student can achieve their full potential.

Some topics that may be reviewed (based on what your student needs) includes:
-Place value (ones and tens)
-Counting and writing numbers up to 1,000
-Identifying and describing 2D and 3D shapes (squares, rectangles, circles, triangles, cubes, spheres, cylinders, etc.)
-Solving simple addition and subtraction word problems

Our dedicated math specialist, Dr. M, with her extensive experience and passion for teaching, guides each student to grasp math concepts with confidence.
