Ahoy, Matey! Join me in this one-time class, and have a fun time finding treasures! First, the teacher will pick a treasure card from the treasure chest. Then the students will read the card to themselves, help will be provided for any students that are having trouble. Next, the students will go on a treasure hunt to find the object on the card. Last, they will return with their treasure to share with the class. *Note: *Students will go on a treasure hunt throughout their house to find the objects. Please set boundaries for your child if there are certain areas or rooms that you do not wish your child to search in. *I will count to 10 slowly to give them enough time, but also not too much time, so that the class doesn't drag out. Most objects should be easy to find like sock, hat, pen, cup, toy, etc. If the student can not find the object, it's okay (I will choose those students to read the word aloud, so they don't feel left out or unsuccessful). I hope you will join me in this fun treasure hunt!
