Welcome to our backyard bug hunt: dragonfly edition! Does your child love bugs? Are they fascinated by the way they fly? This is the perfect course for them! In this one time class we will learn all about the life of a dragonfly. We will gain awareness of fun facts about where they live, what they eat, the colors they can be, and even why they are considered good luck. Did you know that dragonflies are not the best at walking? Well, the children will learn about other things that a dragonfly can do very well.

This lesson will be presented on a PowerPoint and will be lead into a group discussion. Like all of my classes, I believe that students learn best from each other, as well as the teacher. I encourage all students to have fun in my class while also learning quite a bit! This will help the children develop critical thinking as well as turn taking, and creativity. We will end this class with an open ended drawing of a dragonfly! Don't forget your drawing utensils and paper. I want to see how creative your little ones can be. 

I can promise you, your learner will come out of this class as an expert in dragonflies!
