Students will learn why it is important to maintain daily practice in their sketchbook. They will also learn three drawing exercises to help them start drawing on days they can’t think of what to draw. Students will also start to think of the possibility of joining a Sketchbook Club with me to have a cohort of friends to support each other as they practice their work.
I am an artist but have also been a classroom teacher for over years, teaching all subjects through the use of art and art history. I maintain several daily sketchbooks for my own skill growth. I have taught art for many years.
