Theme: Basic Shapes

Shape Matching: Create a “Shape Board” where kids match clay shapes to corresponding cutouts on the board.
Shape Sorting: Sort different shaped clay pieces into categorized containers.

Week 2---(10/03): Color Exploration
Theme: Color Recognition
Activities:
Mixing Colors: Teach children to mix primary colors to create secondary colors using clay.
Color Sorting: Create a color chart with clay and sort different colored pieces.
Colorful Creations: Let children make colorful patterns and designs with their clay.

Week 3---(10/10): Animals
Theme: Zoo Animals
Activities:
Animal Sculptures: Create simple zoo animals like lions, elephants, and monkeys with clay.
Animal Faces: Make animal faces by adding eyes, ears, and other features to clay shapes.
Animal Habitat: Create a clay zoo scene including animals and their habitats.

Week 4---(10/17): Under the Sea
Theme: Ocean Creatures
Activities:
Sea Creature Sculptures: Create sea animals like fish, octopuses, and starfish.
Ocean Scene: Build an ocean diorama with clay sea creatures and underwater scenery.
 Clay Bubble Printing: Use bubble wrap to create textures on clay to mimic the look of water.

Week 5---(10/24): Dinosaurs
Theme: Prehistoric Fun
Activities:
 Dinosaur Models: Make simple dinosaurs like T-Rex, triceratops, and stegosaurus.
 Dino Dig: Hide small clay dinosaur models in a sandbox and let kids dig them out.
 Dinosaur Tracks: Create dinosaur footprints and discuss the different types of dinosaurs.

Week 6---(10/31): Garden and Plants
Theme: Nature and Plants
Activities:
 Flower Sculptures: Make various types of flowers using clay.
 Garden Scene: Create a garden scene with plants, flowers, and insects.
  Seed Planting: Use clay to make pots and plant seeds in them (or simulate planting).

Week 7---(11/07): My Family
Theme: Family Portraits
Activities:
  Family Figures: Create clay figures representing family members.
  Family Tree: Make a family tree with clay, adding each member’s figure to the tree.
  Portraits: Craft simple clay portraits of family members.

Week 8---(11/14): Transportation
Theme: Vehicles
Activities:
  Vehicle Models: Make clay cars, buses, and bicycles.
  Road Scene: Create a roadway with clay vehicles and road signs.
  Transportation Play: Use clay vehicles in a play scenario (e.g., road trip, race).

Week 9---(11/21): Space Exploration

Theme: Fairy Tales and Fantasy
Activities:
  Fairy Tale Figures: Make figures from popular fairy tales, such as princesses, dragons, and knights.
  Fantasy Scenes: Create a fantasy scene with clay castles and magical creatures.
  Storytelling with Clay: Build clay models to illustrate a short fairy tale.

Week 12---(12/19): Celebrations and Holidays
Theme: Festive Fun
Activities:
Holiday Decorations: Create clay decorations for various holidays (e.g., Christmas trees, Halloween pumpkins).
Celebration Scenes: Make scenes representing different celebrations and festivals.
Clay Cards: Create and decorate clay cards for different occasions.
