This is an accelerated class. The student will complete a year's worth of learning in one semester. Students will learn from instruction on the whiteboard and through working example problems. Class time will be used to go over homework from the previous day, answer any questions and cover the day's lesson. Student will learn to *Describe points, lines, rays, line segments, angle and planes, *Calculate the measure of the interior and exterior angles of a regular polygon *Understand the geometry of a circle, sphere, and ellipse *Understand and computing volume and surface area of solids *Use the Pythagorean theorem to identify triangle attributes *Apply postulates, theorems, definitions, and properties to geometric proofs

Students will need a copy of the Geometry student pack ($48 ). Books may purchased from www.mathusee.com (not an affiliate). Students will also need a notebook to take notes, pencil, ruler, protractor, and compass. A calculator capable of trig functions is recommended.
