課堂經歷
The students will learn to speak and recognize words that are common household, school and around town. Numbers, colors and the alphabet for the pronunciation of words. They will recognize objects from Germany and learn about the different parts of the country and culture. Some of the topic areas: Colors, shapes, rooms, weather, food, school, animals, clothes, family and travel This is an interactive class, where the students will hear and be able to repeat words and sentences. Word recognition will come from pictures or questions in German about the objects. I will be speaking in German to ask questions and go back and forth between English and German depending on the current subject that is being discussed. Students will have opportunity to practice what they have learned between classes with provided vocabulary sheets. This is the beginning class to learn to speak German and understand the language, so no previous knowledge is needed. Two schedules: Monday is once a week, Tuesday afternoon class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks

I enjoy working with students and being able to pass along information about one of my favorite classes and a fun culture. I studied German literature and business at Purdue University. I discovered speaking it became easier when a group was having a discussion and I will bring that opportunity to the classes. I lived in Germany for 6 years and enjoyed learning more about their sayings and culture.評論
