Learners can take this course with or without previously taken my other German courses. My video lessons are often lively, using editing, cartoon videos and more to create a balanced course. Students will have the opportunity to take quizzes challenging their memory of new vocabulary with a free app called “Kahoot”. Each week will have a new Kahoot quiz. WEEK ONE: Families! Students will learn about German culture and festivals. They will learn new vocabulary each week and put it to use in our “question” and “challenge of the week”.
I enjoyed four years of German in school. I later would go on to spend time in Germany speaking to natives. I was originally interested in the German language because of my heritage and also because of the similarities between the English and German languages. I am not a native speaker and have an American accent.
