*This class recently changed to a 4-day class, after the beginning of my latest class. I realized there needed to be an extra day moving forward in listing this class for students to be able to share and gain insight into more of the history. So for those who previously finished this class, it has changed a bit moving forward. * First off, I am German. My great, great, grandfather came over from Germany. Since then, I have learned about my own heritage there, the history, and much more. I do...
I am German, my family is from there, I do speak some German, and I have traveled there with my family. This country is very dear to my heart and I love the culture, food, and the sights. I believe it is vital to learn history about countries, especially when it affected the country we live in currently.
Please note, we will be discussing WWII and some of the things that took place. I will not be going into major detail, but there will be mention of the historic events that happened. When studying Germany, this is something that must be covered. They are also welcome to ask questions and I will answer them with the utmost discretion. There are also videos during the 3rd and 4th class that discuss the Holocaust and show some images that might be upsetting. Please know I guard most of that, but the topic will be discussed.
