Are you taking AP World History, AP European History, or AP US (United States) History soon? Prepare for your test with an AP authorized teacher and experienced grader for the College Board! I have been teaching with AP authorization and grading for the College Board for 17 years. I can help you understand what graders are looking for in your test answers, as well as all the details of how the test is constructed to help you reach your highest score! This class will prepare you for the skills you will need to be successful for these courses, as well as the exams in May. In this class we will learn both reading and writing strategies to ensure you have the skills necessary for AP level History. In class, we will practice skills such as annotation, close reading, and document analysis to prepare you for the tasks you will need to carry out in your class. We will also work on writing skills such as constructing an essay, how to use evidence, how to write a DBQ, and making your essay sophisticated to prepare for AP exams and assessments.
