This club will meet once a week. Learners will be able to subscribe weekly.  Each session will stand alone.
  **** Note: This class is for beginners level learners. Learners should have some experience in how to use Roblox Studios.
In this class, Your young programmer will learn the foundations of coding and game design by developing
mini-games with Roblox Studio, the world’s most popular coding game. Meeting 1 day a week for
Coding Sessions, with each day they’ll learn new things in Roblox Studio while making new
friends, exploring game design and understanding the building blocks of coding from Ms. Jeanie, Our
Digital Media Arts Instructor.

Week of September 12th
Scripts, Variables, & Customizing Worlds
Coders will learn to customize the look and feel of Roblox worlds and characters while exploring
the foundations of coding: scripts, variables, and basic program functions.
Week of September 19th
 Functions & Game Events
Coders will learn to code interactivity by setting If - Then conditions to create events and
outcomes.
Week of September 26th
 Loops & Advanced Gameplay
Coders will see how programming loops create a never-ending series of events and actions.
Week of October 3rd
Arrays & Character Development
Coders will explore the art of data management by using arrays to store and use detailed
character information.
Week of October 10th
Game Design Challenge
Coders will put their newfound knowledge and experience to work, creating Roblox mini-games
they can play with other players

Ms. Jeanie is an experienced digital arts teacher. She has years of experience and a bachelor's degree. 

Your learner will need:
Roblox Studio installed on a laptop, PC, or Mac (the Software does not work on iPads or

● A Notebook for The Luau Language codes, with tips and tricks they can use within the
coding.
