In this one times class we will read some favorite Mo Willems books, like "There's a Bird on Your Head!" and "Duckling Gets a Cookie!?" engage in number and pattern activities and count and graph an Elephant and Piggie project together. Little learners can build great listening, observation and creative thinking skills during storytime, asking questions and using their imagination. Students will strengthen literacy and listening skills, prediction, problem solving and observation skills and will practice fine motor work and counting as we work together on our Elephant and Piggie count and graph project with the included printable for enrolled learners.
1 註冊後即可取得文件Please print out the Elephant and Piggie Count and Graph printable before class. In class, we will count our story characters and color in the graph together. Graphs are a great way to teach mathematical information with lines, shapes, or colors because they can be easier to understand than numbers and words alone. Your learner can use crayons or markers to color in the graph as we count. And...if they'd rather observe and finish the graph on their own after class, that's OK too!
Because of the age of the class I recommend a grown up be within "ear-shot" to help with any technical hiccups (mic and video) that might come up.
