Bachelors (4.2 GPA) in English Literature and Music (degree taken in English) Masters degree (4.0 GPA) in Musical Composition (degree taken in French) I have 19 years experience working with teens with academics and creativity, whether it may be with sharpening writing skills, honing in on proper grammar, and even discovering one's true writer's voice. Literature studies are the backbone of any society and bridge the gap between distant and not so distant timelines, ethnicities, cultures, and moral values that propel humanity forward. I attended French immersion (Canadian French) in school and have now lived in the province of Québec for 15 years, in a small city where 97% of the population speaks French as their first language. While English is my mother tongue, I speak French fluently on the vernacular level as well as in professional settings.
