**PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD HAS THE PAPER PRINTED OUT FOR CLASS OR THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHO THE MURDERER IS** ** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions** In this one-time class, students will use logic, puzzles, ciphers, and secret codes to discover what happened at the cinema. Students will be guided through a digital escape room as together we uncover who the murderer is. This will require lots of teamwork as the clues are not easy. I will ask students to type their answers in the chatbox then at the count of 3 we will all say the answer or if it’s too hard they will have to come together to solve the way out of it. Students will go around investigating people and collecting clues and seeing how it can help to discover who the real murderer is. It is recommended that students know how to mute/unmute themselves and type their answers in the chatbox. Do note that this mystery escape room is not graphic and in no way will include things that are too graphic for kids. Please read below for a description of the mystery story. Suddenly and without warning, on a quiet night at the cinema, a body is discovered outside Screen 3. The cinema staff knows that no one has left the building - so the murderer is one of the customers watching a film. As the Detective Chief Inspector, it is your job to solve the crime. Your officers have compiled a list of the suspects in attendance at the cinema. You must use this list of cinema-goers and the clues to determine who has committed this terrible crime. Eliminate those who could not have committed the crime as you go by cross-referencing the information you discover. As Sherlock Holmes said, ‘When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth’. Accuracy and care could make the difference between identifying the culprit and arresting someone innocent. Good luck! Please make sure you check your audio and device are working properly. Dazzling Minds Academy, founded by Erika Corona, offers a variety of fun escape rooms and fun math classes. Dazzling Minds Academy specializes in escape rooms and math classes where students will use their critical thinking skills in both math and decoding ciphers to ensure that students learn while having fun.
Up to now, Dazzling Minds Academy, has served over 6,900 students in both live and flex classes. Our flex classes offers prerecorded instruction where each child can follow along with Teacher Erika to ensure that every objective is fully understood. Our live classes are filled with fun mysteries decoding ciphers and fun technology use such as Kahoot.
Dazzling Minds Academy offers all types of classes; Flex, One-Time, Ongoing and Multiday to ensure that parents choose the best option for their child.
All courses are designed by Teacher Erika and taught by highly qualified teachers that are excited to teach and ensure that every child has fun while learning.
Dazzling Minds Academy vision is to ensure that every child learns by having fun. Our escape rooms are fun, yet challenging and our math classes are carefully prepared to ensure each child learns the objective. We offer over 60 flex classes of Math, Writing, Grammar full curriculum PDF journals as well as fun classes with decoding ciphers

ERIKA: Founder of Dazzling Minds Academy and Math teacher for over 8 years in the middle school setting. Prior to that, I was a teacher aide with all grade levels in the elementary setting. I have taught with VIPKids and have tutored kids for over 15 years.
