Dance along with Mrs. Kat in this upbeat dance class! The first few minutes of class, learners will get the chance to connect with Mrs. Kat. We will begin our dance class with an upbeat warm-up that will include similar dance steps incorporated in our routine. This is to get the learners feet and body familiar with some of the moves before learning the routine. I will then show the students the dance routine to the music one time. Now it’s your learners turn to learn the steps to our routine....

Your learner will learn beginner dance steps in a creative, positive and fun learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short dance where they will learn various patterns to different styles of dance. Dancing to music through a routine also teaches your learner how to develop rhythm and musicality. The most important goal is to learn to have fun and enjoy movement as a lifestyle!
I have been dancing for 17 years and have choreographed dances for 4 year olds through college age.
Learners will need a water bottle handy, comfortable shoes & clothes, and a safe place to freely move.
Please make sure your learner is in an area where they can move around freely. No dancing on slippery surfaces or rugs that are not non-slip. Having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Learners will want to be in comfortable clothes and shoes that they can easily move in, and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk. Please monitor your learner as necessary.
