In this class, students will visit 4 sites that are important to French language and culture. We will learn about the history of the site (in English), and basic French vocabulary and phrases associated with each site. It is strongly encouraged that students have either completed my French Level 1 course or have prior knowledge of French before taking this class. I have my Bachelor of Education (with distinction). I graduated high school with my "certificat de langue maternelle" (French mother tongue certificate) and I live in a fully bilingual environment. I speak French daily, teach and tutor in French and can't wait to share my knowledge of French language and culture with you.
Students are encouraged to take notes if they find that helpful. Practice material will be provided after class.
