法文初級班：J,apprends le Français (Flex)

In this 6-week flexible class, students will learn and review letters, numbers, shapes, colors through singing and games. This class is for students who have no experience in French (Beginner).

                                                     *This is a flexible class, meaning there are NO live meetings*.

Each week, I will be uploading the instructional video(s) and worksheets. The videos posted will be about 10 to 15 minutes long. These videos will have key vocabulary,  Students will then complete various activities and will engage with others learners through the Outschool platform. 

Here is an overview of the class: 

Week 1: Greetings and Introductions 
Classroom activity: Students will post video introductions of themselves. Others learners will have to comment on one element they have in common with the learner who posted the video. 
Individual activity: Students will complete various worksheets or online activities.

Week 2: Colours
Classroom activity: Students will go on a colour hunt and then post their findings (a picture) into the classroom 
Individual activity: Students will complete various worksheets or online activities.

Week 3: Numbers 1-10
Individual assignment: Students will complete various worksheets to review numbers. 

Week 4: Days of the week and Month of the year 
Classroom activity: Students will create a calendar to show their understanding of the month and days of the week. 
Individual activity: Students will complete various worksheets or online activities. 

Week 5: Seasons and weather 
Classroom activity: Students will make a video about themselves to share their favourite season, the weather of the day, etc. Then, share the video in the classroom. 
Individual activity: Students will complete a wordsearch to help them memorize words related to seasons and weather.

Week 6: Family
Classroom activity: Students will introduce their family members in a video with the help of a picture. 
Individual activity: Students will complete various worksheets or online activities. 

Students will have access to vocabulary lists, and flashcards. Students will also receive videos to help them how to pronounce these words and simple sentences. I am available daily to answer any questions.  I will also provide personalized feedback to students' activities.
