課堂經歷
Students will get the chance to not only share in their passion of Fortnite with others, but they will also learn public speaking, and active listening skills. Taking turns, and waiting patiently are skills that many gamers can benefit from learning. Friendships formed in this class will be an added bonus. The first part of class will be discussing Fortnite news and tips. I will share a tip of the week. Learners will get a chance to discuss the game as well. The second part will be a chance for the learners to play live with each other on Zoom, and on their device. Learners will also have the opportunity to ask questions, and help each other to learn. It should be noted that I play on the NA-West server, and that playing on the same server may or may not help a player's ping. *I am in no way affiliated with Fortnite, or it's products. I do not consider myself an expert in Fortnite, but I like to offer this platform for children who love the game, and want to make friends.*
學習目標
Soft spoken students will learn to use their voice. Out spoken students will learn to take turns. Everyone will get to practice actively listening to others. Also, the students may gain computer skills, team work, social skills, and public speaking.

Fortnite by Epic games is rated for 13+. It is the parent's responsibility to determine if this game is right for your family.
供應清單
The learner should have the Fortnite game. Fortnite books are also helpful but not required. Having the devices used for class near the wi-fi router, or having them wired in can help to create a smother game playing experience.

Hello and Good Day! My name is Teacher Leiloni and I am a life long learner. This means that I love to learn new things. I have my bachelors in Education which helps me to teach my own children as well as others. I have a certificate in children's yoga. I have taught in person private classes and have been certified under the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute in Shakespeare Conquest, Key of Liberty and the Georgics class. I have also attended training to teach a Mission Hero class which teaches the scholars about heroes while learning about the Civil War through current events. My children have shown chickens through 4-H for a few years so I ended up being the poultry leader. I began my online teaching career teaching ESL to children in China as well!
I believe that children learn best when they are led by their own interests, or at least a teacher or mentor that can inspire them to gain new knowledge and passions.評論
