If you are new to me, use code JENNYTRY3 to take $3 off any of my classes!💰 Each week we will meet and discuss what Fortnite games we want to play. The new Fortnite season just started (Absolute Doom) and there are tons of challenges to complete. Let's work together and level up! We will also have the option to play some of the creator made island games, like bed wars, box fights, free for alls (FFA) etc. Depending on how many people are in class, breakout rooms may be used and I will be checking in on each group to make sure everyone is doing great. Fortnite is a cross-platform game meaning it doesn't matter what system you use (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC etc.) we can all play together. Students will need to send me their gamertags before class privately so that I can add them (doing this allows us to get to game play quicker). All skill levels are welcome. I provide an inclusive, welcoming environment. There is a no tolerance policy for bad language or negative vibes toward anyone in class. Gaming can be a heated, competitive environment, but we all will be reminded that we are all trying our best and helping is always better than being unkind.

Hi! I love to teach classes that are fun and promote discussion and creativity. In all of my classes I mix critical thinking with out of the box thinking so that the kids learn something brand new! I find the best way to do this is by using books, video games, trivia and other interactive components to keep them engaged and wanting to learn.
My passion for critical thought stems from my degree in Philosophy. The integration of pop culture in my classes is rooted in a lifetime of toy collecting, video game playing, and during my time as a staff writer for an online comic book review site. Over the past five years I have created community-based, pop-up craft classes for parents and children that integrate culture and thought, and I am excited about the opportunity to share these types of activities with my students!
Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and three cats! I like online gaming and spending a lot of time crafting.評論
