Did you know that by the time your child is in 6th grade they must know about x and y coordinates? Let’s get a head start and make sure that your child knows how to plot points by uncovering a mystery picture along the way. Plotting coordinates are extremely fun, but can also be very complicated for kids being that there are 4 coordinates. I will make sure that your child knows how to plot points by the end of this ongoing class. Students will post their mystery pictures when they are done every Sunday to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to do it without others showing them a complete version of it. We will discuss how easy or hard they thought it was. Students are encouraged to color the mystery picture so it can look prettier. To ensure that students interact with each other students will be required to post and comment back on their peer's discussions. Students will receive 7 plotting points every week with a prerecorded lesson on how to create their mystery picture. Students will follow with me as we do 1 complete plotting point mystery picture then they will have the chance to do 7 mystery plotting points by themselves. Students will also be playing a friendly competition of Quizizz on Sundays and see who was able to get the highest score. I will not list the plotting themes to keep it a secret, but I guarantee that your child will learn about plotting points while having lots of fun in class. Dazzling Minds Academy, founded by Erika Corona, offers a variety of fun escape rooms and fun math classes. Dazzling Minds Academy specializes in escape rooms and math classes where students will use their critical thinking skills in both math and decoding ciphers to ensure that students learn while having fun.
Up to now, Dazzling Minds Academy, has served over 6,900 students in both live and flex classes. Our flex classes offers prerecorded instruction where each child can follow along with Teacher Erika to ensure that every objective is fully understood. Our live classes are filled with fun mysteries decoding ciphers and fun technology use such as Kahoot.
Dazzling Minds Academy offers all types of classes; Flex, One-Time, Ongoing and Multiday to ensure that parents choose the best option for their child.
All courses are designed by Teacher Erika and taught by highly qualified teachers that are excited to teach and ensure that every child has fun while learning.
Dazzling Minds Academy vision is to ensure that every child learns by having fun. Our escape rooms are fun, yet challenging and our math classes are carefully prepared to ensure each child learns the objective. We offer over 60 flex classes of Math, Writing, Grammar full curriculum PDF journals as well as fun classes with decoding ciphers

ERIKA: Founder of Dazzling Minds Academy and Math teacher for over 8 years in the middle school setting. Prior to that, I was a teacher aide with all grade levels in the elementary setting. I have taught with VIPKids and have tutored kids for over 15 years.
