In this 4 week course, we will learn the fundamentals of American Sign Language. Each week, a video lesson will be posted for students to watch. We will learn something new each week. The schedule will go as follows: 

Week 1: Alphabet and Introductions
Week 2: Colors and Numbers and Family
Week 3: Feelings and Days of the Week and Months of the Year 
Week 4: Common words and phrases and Animals 

Each week, a video of how to sign the words will be posted. Each student should watch the video, practice, and then record themselves doing the signs. These videos can be posted to the classroom OR sent to me to view and no one else. The videos should be posted to the classroom tab under the video instruction. During the week, a video will also be posted for students to watch of me doing the signs in a random order with no sound. Each student should watch the signs, write down what they think they are, and post it under the video. This can be a fun game for the students to play against each other, and to test their knowledge. A questions post will also be made later in the week for any questions that students may have. Students are also welcome to message me during the week if they have any questions they need answered as well.
