This is a great class for beginner first grade or advanced kindergarten levels. This class focuses on number sense concepts in fun and engaging math games and centers. It can be a great class for homeschooled children to add hand-on activities to supplement instruction. It also is a great class to build confidence in Math!
The number sense concepts this class will cover are:
-Number combinations to 10
-Using doubles
-Adding and Subtracting to 12
The games and centers your children will be introduced to will be using dice games, playing cards, cubes, and ten-frames. We will play and learn: How many more?, Dice throwing to ten, Guess my Magic Number, Double Dice, Go fish, fish, fish!學習目標
Students will be able to solve addition and subtraction word problems, and add and subtract within 10Students will be able to decompose numbers less than or equal to
10 into pairs in more than one way, by using objects or drawings, and record each decomposition by a drawing or equation

Learners must be able to count items up to 20, as well as recognize and write numbers to 20.

A bag of 20 small items (paper clips, cubes, toothpicks, pennies, etc.). Playing cards or homemade cards of two-colored sets of number 1-10 (red numbers 1-10, blue numbers 1-10). Paper and pencil or whiteboard and marker.
