In this one-time class, students will practice identifying emotions.  Students will gain knowledge of emotions by giving emotions names and matching these emotions to age appropriate scenarios.  As a class, we will play the card game, Feelings and Dealings.  This is a game of matching feelings to scenarios via kid-friendly illustrations and play.  Each student will be offered the opportunity to participate and share their thoughts with the teacher and their peers.  The goal of this class is for students to build their knowledge of emotions and when emotions take place.  This is a critical life skill and the first stepping stone to emotional regulation.
