In this class, we will read a trilogy about Fairy Houses. This is a series of three short stories about children who create fairy houses from their natural environment. Using aspects from the stories, the students will brainstorm, design and build their own fairy house. I am a homeschooling momma who firmly believes in having my children get out in nature to explore and discover all the wonders it has to offer. My daughter and I have always been fascinated with mythical fairies- from stories and movies to the homes in which they would live. The stories used in this class have sparked hours of fun outdoors for my family. I hope they will do the same for your budding fairy house designer!
Teacher will provide students with all hand-outs. Students will need some scratch paper and colored pencils or crayons.
