This class combines fashion history with creative thinking and fashion design. It encourages students to apply their fashion history knowledge to today's fashion. Each lesson, students will briefly learn a trend in fashion history. We will analyze a look from that decade and draw it together step-by-step. Students will: - learn the history of fashion and how to draw specific popular fashion trends from each decade - learn how to apply their fashion history knowledge and make it relevant to today's fashion - develop confidence with their fashion drawing and learn the correct terminology to describe their illustrations - practice developing their own creative thinking process
