課堂經歷
In this one time class, students will learn how to repurpose old things into something completely new. We will use our creative skills to design a gnome from old socks. Creativity is strongly encouraged as students gather their supplies, no two gnomes are alike. Students will be given a supply list upon enrollment and will be encouraged to make their sock gnome unique. The gnome is made from 2 old (or new) socks, 1 lb of rice, 1 wooden bead, and a piece of craft fur. The total estimated cost for this craft is $3 to $4. Students will be using a low temperature glue gun and scissors, adult supervision may be needed.

I also teach math. If your student is struggling in math, it is most likely because they aren't having fun learning! Consider this....you can remember the words to a song but you can't remember basic math calculations. That is because the songs were set to music and your brain associated the song with fun....I teach math based on this principle.
