Fables came before written language and were stories that were told to relay or teach a moral lesson. The most famous of written fables were written by Aesop and include "The Ant And The Grasshopper", "The Fox And The Grapes" and "The Lion And The Mouse" among others. I am an English certified teacher. I love teaching fables and fairy tales and other wonderful literature. I am offering this class as a flex class as I think it will provide a great opportunity to students to move at their own pace. There are so many wonderful fables and stories out there just waiting to be discovered.
