課堂經歷
A wide variety of adventures will supply a rich foundation for imaginative and enjoyable writing. Your students will work through IEW Units 1–4 as they learn to take notes, write from their notes, rewrite narrative stories, and summarize references. Each week, the teacher will introduce the structure, as well as elements of style, such as quality adjectives, strong verbs, use of clauses, etc... Vocabulary building, and practice including these rich words in our writing is also included. Concepts will be introduced through direct instruction, guided practice, peer interaction, and occasional interactive games. Please see the "materials" section for information on the required text.
