Week 1
Lesson 1
Grammar Review
We will cover common writing mistakes, punctuation, writing with proper tone and purpose, sentence structures to prepare for the upcoming paper. 
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Paragraph Structure
We will cover how to construct a solid paragraph, use detail, flow, indentions, transition, topic sentences, verb tense and more.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Resources (Works Cited and Types of Essays)
We will cover reliable resources, evaluating sources, citations, works cited, and types of essays. Students will choose their topic and style of paper this week, and complete a Works Cited Page. 
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Resources (In-Text, Outlines, and Thesis)
 We will cover outlines, thesis and topic sentences, and in-text citations. Students will complete an outline for their paper this week. 
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Research Paper First Draft (Essay Layout)
We will cover the full outline of how to put a proper essay and paper together. Students will work on the first draft of our paper this week and turn it into me covering at least their first topic point. 
 Week 6
Lesson 6
 Research Paper Second Draft (Logos, Ethos, Pathos)
We will cover logos, ethos, and pathos to help them continue writing and using resources. Students will work on the second draft of our paper this week, adding content and information to the first part they have done, covering at least their next topic point. 
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Research Paper Third Draft (Citation and Flow Review)
We will go back over citations, transitions, flow, and more. Students will work on the third draft of their paper this week and add any final topics to the paper they need to complete their paper. They will turn in a completed paper to me. 
 Week 8
Lesson 8
Research Paper Final Draft and Final Review 
We will cover editing and revising, and then do a fun review in class. Students will do some final editing of their paper once they receive my feedback, and then submit to me for a final look.
