This one-on-one session will be a direct mentoring set-up to assist learners in writing better essays for academic purposes and college applications. Each learner's style will be considered as the mentor recommends ways to improve. Writing exercises and essay editing will be included. The session's purpose is to correct any misconceptions about writing expectations and prepare learners to write effective application essays for college and other academic purposes.
學習目標
By the end of the session, learners should be able to:
1. Create a simple outline of the contents of the assigned writing task;
2. Construct an appropriate and comprehensive thesis statement;
3. Develop paragraphs with proper transitions and connecting statements; and
4. Summarize the entire essay with a proper conclusion.
