What - The focus of this course is to give students practice with the various reading comprehension skills. Reading comprehension skills typically require students to read then use critical thinking to explain new information. Why - They are expected to identify the correct answer through multiple choice options and to explain the reason for their answer, in writing. How - In this class learners will receive instruction through teacher created presentations, videos and discussions....
Students will improve their reading comprehension skills through ongoing practice.
I have over 5 years experience as an online ESL teacher, over 10 years as a classroom teacher, a Master's degree in TESOL, and work as an Adjunct ESL community college instructor. I also work as an online Academic Teacher with students who struggle with reading, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and executive functioning.
Required: Notebook and Pencil
