Welcome to English Language Arts: Procedural Paragraph Writing – Making the Ultimate Sandwich!
In this one-week self-paced class, learners will explore the art of procedural paragraph writing by crafting detailed instructions for creating the ultimate sandwich. This engaging course not only enhances writing skills but also encourages creativity in English Language Arts.
Course Details:
♦No Live Meetings: All materials are available online, allowing learners to engage with the content at their own pace.
♦Structured Learning: The class includes three recorded videos and three independent activities.
Class Content:
1. Intro Video
🔹 Discover the meaning of procedural paragraph writing.
2. Drawing Activity
🔹 Create a visual representation of the ultimate sandwich.
3. Graphic Organizer Video
🔹 Learn how to use a graphic organizer to structure thoughts.
4. Graphic Organizer Activity
🔹 Prepare for paragraph writing by completing a graphic organizer.
5. Procedural Paragraph Writing Video
🔹 Follow along step-by-step to write a procedural paragraph.
🔹 Read an example of a well-crafted procedural paragraph.
6. Procedural Paragraph Editing Activity
🔹 Finalize and edit the paragraph for clarity and detail.
Learners are encouraged to share their drawings, graphic organizers, and completed paragraphs. We will provide constructive feedback to support their writing journey.
