In this English as a Second Language (ESL) class, your student will learn how to speak English starting with the basic alphabets, numbers, colors, etc. to greetings, and making sentences until we can have a realistic conversation. This class meets ONCE per week. 

Student will have one on one access to teacher via the online platform. 

The first session will be an assessment to see where the student is, allow the teacher to know where they are, what they need help with, and how to prep the following lessons. 

A typical lesson start with an introduction to make the student feel a bit more comfortable. We will then talk about the topic to be reviewed to see the cause for concern. Class will flow in a fun engaging matter to make it easy to understand, comprehension, and stick. We will focus on different strategies and allow the student to choose the one that best fit them. Throughout the lesson I will constantly use questioning and modeling to check for comprehension. 

This class will be taught in English ONLY. The teacher will only speak English, give instruction in English, and expect the student to speak only English during class time. The teacher will provide the parent feedback in English and their native language via a translator app via the platform messaging system.
