In this one time class, we will be solving a mystery- ¿Donde esta Bruno? and freeze dancing! Freeze dancing allows for lots of free movement and exercise! I love staying active and keeping my students active, especially in online classes! This class is great for afterschool fun! I use a freeze dance set up for my classes. I think it is a perfect brain break for this age group! Great to get out those after school wiggles! We will be dancing to music from the new movie "Encanto!" We will take a break from freeze dance to "solve a mystery" Let's find Bruno! At the end of class, kiddos will choose their own "gift." In order to solve the mystery, students will be using math skills such as addition, comparing numbers, etc to find Bruno. For the freeze dance portion, please have a safe, clear space for students to safely move their bodies. Please remind students that they can bring a water bottle for water breaks as needed. Please have an adult nearby for supervision! We always warm up our bodies before we freeze dance, so we will be doing that before the dancing starts! We will be stretching in class to warm up!

Hello! My name is Lili Flores!
I have a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 (Education Prek- 6th Grade) with a Bilingual component from Texas State University.
I taught Kindergarten for 4 years and 2nd grade for 1 year in a traditional classroom setting. I have 4 years of online teaching experience. I started teaching on Outschool in 2020 and have loved connecting with students and families here!
My goal for my online classroom is to create a space where my students feel listened to, comfortable and loved; all while having fun!
We will be learning and playing together! I love keeping my classes active so make sure you bring some water with you!
Spanish is my first language and I love teaching kiddos to love it. I also love drawing, reading books and laughing. I look forward to doing all of those things with your kiddos.
I believe relationship is the foundation of any teacher/student interaction. It is my hope that all of my students feel seen, heard and valued.
