This is a 30-minute one-to-one tutoring session for any student seeking help on their homework or who needs help reviewing their elementary math skills, pre-algebra, or elementary geometry skills. Topics in elementary maths include whole number place value, comparing whole numbers and decimals (greater than, less than), the number line, adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers, fractions, and equivalent fractions, common denominators, operations on fractions (adding, subtracting,...
為了確保輔導有效，老師建議每週見面 2x。首次購買後預訂額外的定期會議。Students will improve their understanding of math and pre-algebra or geometry by building up skills in note-taking and drilling on multiplication tables, simple formulas, or working out problems from their homework.
I have taught math and science from middle school, through high-school college-prep, and tutored at the college level. In the over 20 years that I have been teaching, I have developed multiple approaches in order to accommodate learners with varied learning abilities, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, or math anxiety. I worked with the Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT) program at the University of Arizona for the four years I attended the university and have worked with at-risk teens as well as those deemed gifted and talented (GATE program). I do affirm that all students are gifted and talented if given that presumption.
Let me know in advance what the particular topic is that your learner is having difficulty with so I can be prepared and ready with my notes and reference materials. If there are any PDF files available for worksheets or exam guides, those would be greatly appreciated as we can go over the material together. Pencil and paper to write on at the minimum.
