Students in this “hand-work” creative arts class will learn to transfer floral designs onto fabric. Over two class meetings, students will learn to thread a needle, knot their thread, and make the basic stitches involved in creating beautiful embroidered designs on fabric. A solid color linen, cotton, or muslin, fabric square (preferably 10” x 10”) 1 size 4 embroidery hoop, and various colors DMC embroidery floss/skeins fabric marker, tracing paper, and scissors I will send you the floral template 24 hours before class.
