Creativity is a very personalized process, I encourage my students to take "Progress photos" so that when done, they can look back at how they transformed a black canvas into a painting. These photos are a great visual documentation of their learning. In a year or 5 years, they can look back at their photos and realize how far their skills have come. This ongoing subscription art club allows students to explore easy painting projects in a low-pressure, student-centered environment. Each week students will complete a different painting with step-by-step teacher guidance. Students are encouraged to add their own unique flair to each project through color choices and other project variations. No previous painting experience is required. This painting club will offer easy painting options that do not require a traceable, or initial drawing. The background will be a great place to practice blending, then the student will learn how to draw the subject with a brush. This weekly class is 55 mins. est - 30 mins for the back ground 20-30 mins for the subject/silhouette The class goes at a decent pace to cover everything For the demonstrations, Lovejoy will utilize a "screen share" slideshow and pre-recorded video to demonstrate the steps. The slideshow is a file on canva or google drive. Payment is charged each Sunday before class meets. If you aren't able to attend a week's session, you can unsubscribe before the weekend to avoid being charged for the upcoming session. you will not be charged for the weeks that I am unavailable . It isn't possible to hold your seat without payment for the week. Re-play Videos will be available for students who aren't able to attend the live class.** Class recordings are available after processing, typically 4 hours after class ends. *All class times are approximate. Class length varies based on student ability and the number of enrolled learners. Classes are designed so that they will not run longer than the time allotted.* *Late/Missed Class Policy* All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 min. Class recordings are not guaranteed if no learners are present.

For live zoom classes, Lovejoy will utilize "screen share" and share a slideshow from Canva or google drive account. The learning slide show will show the steps, the final image, and a video of that step. See the video promo for the course to see a sample slideshow. Lovejoy will discuss each step and answer any questions, The video can be replayed as needed. Students will be asked to hold their painting up to the camera for progress checks (they can send them via photo in chat if they prefer)

Lovejoy will share a step-by-step video in lecture/discussion style through Zoom. (this is a slideshow with images and pre-recorded video to show the steps) The class will progress together through the 55 minutes with questions answered as they come up. There will be a few times that Lovejoy will ask all the students to hold up their paintings to the camera so she can see everyone's progress, as well as the students seeing others' work and giving encouraging feedback.
