Please note: This class picks up where Early Intermediate Piano Level N leaves off. Prospective students should be familiar with swing rhythm, 6/4 time signatures, triad construction, major and minor triads, ostinatos, one-octave arpeggios and the key of D major. Sight reading music is essential to this class so prospective students should be comfortable with reading music in the Level 3B Piano Adventures series (material from Level N). In this class, students will explore contrasts in music: rounded binary musical form, 6/8 time signature, chord inversions, sixteenth notes, playing with a "singing" tone and discovering the stylistic traits of JC Bach and Pachelbel.
I have been teaching piano for over 13 years. I have a Master's Degree in Music Education and a Bachelor's Degree of Art in Music. I am a touring musician and am currently recording my second solo album.

Please note: Students will need to practice a minimum of 2 hours every week to stay on top of class material. Sight-reading fluency is essential to learning class pieces. Weekly practice is essential to learn new material.2 - 4 每週課外時間

I will offer feedback after students perform an exercise and, if needed, provide suggestions to help the student master the concept. Mistakes are a part of learning a musical instrument! So students should not worry if they play the exercise or a piece correct on the first try. Together we will learn how to progress through new music and learn new musical concepts.提供的成績
