During this session we will read a fun children's story with Mrs. Bright and Riverton the Golden Retriever. Students will learn about parts of a book and the main idea of the story. After the discussion of the story students can ask questions about Riverton, the story, or to each other! This class is formed to have fun, learn, and socialize.
- Students will learn parts of a book, how to read a story, and story vocabulary.
- Students will learn social skills by interacting with peers
- Students will be able to interact with Riverton the Golden and learn more about him
I have been a public school teacher for over 12 years. I also taught preschool for 2 years before becoming a public education teacher.

This class is developed for young learners. Visual and verbal prompting and support will be had during instruction. Students will be able to talk to each other and the teacher. Students will answer questions, ask questions, and enjoy.
During this class students will be able to interact and talk with each other. Students will be able to read with Mrs. Bright and Riverton the 7 month old Golden Retriever. During this class we will read the story "Dixie Loves School Pet Day." by Grace Gilman. Students will be able to ask questions, will learn vocabulary words, learn about parts of a book, and have fun. This is a great opportunity to get your child comfortable interacting with others and prepare them for active listening.
