In my over 20 years of teaching experience, I have found that children learn best when they are able to experience and express the lesson through all their senses. I have been a Dyslexia Specialist for Lamar CISD school district in Texas for 6 years and then a private Dyslexia tutor for the past 2 years. I’m trained in the Region 4 Dyslexia Intervention Program (similar to Neuhaus) as well as 2 programs from the Really Great Reading Program, Blast and HD Word. I use a combination of the programs to best address Dyslexic students’ needs.
