In this class we will be playing Dungeons and Dragons! This campaign will follow the Dungeons & Dragons module, The Lost Mine of Phandelver. This module is designed for new players, and takes place starting at level 1. This module sees the characters hired by a dwarf merchant, Gundren Rockseeker, hire them to escort a wagon to Phandalin. Students will improve their skills with the game Dungeons & Dragons, improve their teamwork and problem solving abilities, and build lasting friendships while learning how to interact through peace and conflict with their peers.

This class uses the virtual tabletop platform “Roll20” to play D&D, allowing learners to see the elements of the game and interact with them. “Roll20” is only compatible with a laptop or desktop computer, so please ensure your learner is not joining from a phone or tablet. You will need to create an account for your learner on Roll20. Once your learner has enrolled in the class, we will reach out with a guide to joining Roll20 and help get their character sheet uploaded.
We will be using Roll20 for this campaign. https://roll20.net We highly recommend your student own a copy of The Player's Handbook as it can be excellent for reference and ideas.
